If you recorded with Show pressed keys, the Shortcuts settings control how they appear:
- Show pressed keys: on or off for the whole video.
- Size.
- Show as keycaps: draws each key of a shortcut as its own key, like ⌘ ⇧ 4. Typing stays a line of text.
The panel shows how many key presses were recorded. If none were, it tells you to choose Shortcuts only or Shortcuts and typing on the recorder bar next time. See Showing pressed keys.
