Screen Motion writes your recording to disk as it goes. If your Mac or the app stops in the middle of a recording, the next time Screen Motion opens it rescues what was recorded.
The recording appears in your library as (name) (recovered), with its picture and sound. The pointer's path and automatic zooms aren't recovered, so add zooms by hand if you want them.
