Open the Licence window from Licence at the top of the home window.
- Manage… opens your account, where you'll find your key and invoices, and can change or cancel a plan.
- Deactivate This Mac frees this Mac's activation, so the key can be used on another one.
- Check Again appears when the licence needs checking.
Moving to a new Mac
Click Deactivate This Mac on the old Mac, then enter the key on the new one. If the old Mac is gone, deactivate it from your account under Manage….
Status
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| Active | Exporting works. |
| Ended | The subscription or key has ended. Renew it, or enter another key. |
| Does not cover this version | A Lifetime licence covers versions released within a year of purchase. Renew it, or keep using an earlier version. |
| Needs checking | Screen Motion hasn't been able to check the licence for 14 days. Connect to the internet and click Check Again. |
| Switched off | Write to support. |
Screen Motion checks your licence about once a day when it's online, and keeps working offline for 14 days.
