What's new
Updates arrive inside the app. Here is what each version brought.
Version 1.0
The first release of Screen Motion.
- Recording. A display, a window, an area or a connected iPhone or iPad, with your camera, microphone and system audio. A live preview before you start, speaker notes, pressed keys, and global shortcuts.
- Zooms. Automatic zooms wherever you click, zooms you add or draw on the timeline, and a glass lens that magnifies one detail.
- Camera. Shapes, sizes and positions, face tracking, looks and LUTs, and layouts on the timeline: camera, split screen, screen only and a cutout of you with the room removed.
- Editing. Trim, split, speed, transitions, crop, blur and highlight masks, texts, removing silences and filler words, and a command menu.
- Look. Wallpapers including live ones, gradients, colours, your own images and videos, and cursors from arrows to characters.
- Captions. Written from your voice on your Mac, in English, Arabic, French, German and Spanish, with each word lit as it is said.
- Sound. Noise reduction, a podcast voice, voiceovers and background music.
- Formats. Wide, classic, square and vertical, with layouts that rearrange for each, and export to MP4 or GIF up to 4K.
- Projects. Share a whole project with its edits, open videos and screenshots, and import Screen Studio projects as a beta.
